the Glaze is owned by Stephen Ellis and Claire Wrobel.
Stephen, an experienced graphic designer, owned a successful ceramic
tile imaging business in Europe. After selling the company and
a brief sojourn in the UK, he decided to move permanently to the
US.
Claire fell in love with ceramic tile imaging and teamed
up with Stephen to start In the Glaze. The art of producing
imaged ceramic tiles requires extensive use of complex graphics
software. Her Masters Degree in IT and her experience in
software development provide a valuable contribution to the
business.
They chose Miami because they love the city,
the weather and the opportunities.
They produce ceramic tile murals using the best materials with the
highest quality on budget and on time. They
provide their customers with what they want when they want
it. They plan on staying in Miami and running In the Glaze
forever!
